Hex stack puzzle rules in a minute

Place a stack on a socket beside a stack whose top color matches. Connected matching tops hand their whole top run of that color to one receiving stack, automatically. Six or more layers of one color on top clear six as a Rosette, and the color underneath is exposed, so matching can run again. You lose if every socket is full, or if a level's queue runs out before you meet its goals.

  • Pick one of the three stacks under PLAY NOW; the next three wait under UP NEXT.
  • Drag it to a socket beside a stack with the same top color, or tap to select and then tap a socket.
  • Count the matching top layers that would flow together before you commit: six clear a Rosette.
  • After a Rosette, check the color it exposes. If it matches a neighbour, the chain keeps going.

What is a hex stack puzzle?

Hex stack puzzles put stacks of colored hexagon tiles on a honeycomb board. Place a stack beside one with the same color on top and the matching tiles slide across; gather enough of one color and they clear. The skill is in reading the layers underneath, because each clear reveals the next color and can set off a chain.

How Hexloom plays

Place a stack beside a matching visible top. Connected stacks donate their complete top-color runs automatically, then the board resolves until every edge is stable. Six matching layers clear a Rosette, and newly revealed colors can immediately pull another group, turning one considered placement into a readable cascade.

Every stack shows its real depth, a shape-coded top and visible lower bands, and the Up Next rail shows the next three stacks. You can drag or tap, and there are color-vision palettes, bold symbols and reduced effects.

Hexloom FAQ

What are the rules of a hex stack puzzle?

Place a stack beside one with the same top color; connected matching tops pass their whole top run to one stack. Six or more layers of one color on top clear as a Rosette and expose the color beneath. You lose if every socket is full or a level's queue runs out before its goals are met.

How do you clear a Rosette?

Get six or more layers of one color on top of a stack. Six clear as a Rosette, and the color underneath is exposed, which can start another match.

How do you lose a hex stack puzzle?

When every socket is full, or when a level's queue runs out before you meet its goals. Every Gallery level ships with more stacks than its par needs, so one misplacement never ends a level on its own.

Is Hexloom free?

The tutorial and today's ranked Daily Loom are free every day. A $4.99 one-time unlock opens the 96-level Gallery and unlimited Flow.

Does Hexloom have ads or energy?

No. Hexloom has no ads and no energy systems.

Can I see what comes next?

Yes. The Up Next rail always shows the next three stacks, and every stack shows its lower layers.

Do I need an account for the Daily?

No. The ranked Daily works without an account; the server replays your moves before it accepts a score.
