A garden game built like a roguelite

A roguelite is a game of runs: each one starts fresh, you make build choices as it goes, and it ends when you miss a target. Pollen Path applies that to a garden. A year runs spring, summer, autumn and winter, three days each, and every season sets a bloom target. Miss one and the garden ends.

How Pollen Path plays

Each turn you choose from your seed packets and plant on a 5×6 plot. You never draw the path: the bee always flies to the brightest flower next to it, so where you plant is where it goes. Before you commit, a dashed ghost route shows exactly where the bee will fly and what dusk will score.

At dusk the bee visits flower after flower. Each one scores its petals times the flight multiplier, which climbs with every visit, so a long route turns into a rising chain of blooms. Between seasons you choose one of three almanac charms, then tend the plot: prune, transplant, add a second hive, or set a butterfly perch.
