The board never refills
Clear a route and that space stays yours. It is the one decision the whole game turns on: clear for points now, or clear to keep the column you will need in a minute.
The floor is the difficulty
A new row rises every few seconds and speeds up the longer you last. The matching rule never gets harder — the clock does. Every run ends; the only question is how many rows you held off.
One shared daily, down to the row order
The Daily Run is seeded by date, so everyone gets the same opening board and the same sequence of incoming rows. Same problem, same order, no luck excuse. Practice gives you a fresh random board any time, unranked.
Four tools. One charge each.
Undo a move, spot a route with Hint, change the numbers with Shuffle, or clear a troublesome tile. Every run starts with the same tools.
Daily play
The Daily Run defends your streak.
Playing the day's ranked run keeps your streak alive. Practice boards never count toward it and are never submitted.

How do you play Tenward?
Drag across two to four touching tiles, diagonals included, whose numbers add up to exactly 10, then let go. The tiles clear and the gap stays empty while a new row keeps rising from the bottom. The run ends when a tile is pushed past the top.
Is Tenward free?
Yes. Tenward is free to download and includes one ranked Daily a day plus three Practice runs a day. An optional one-time Full Game Unlock ($4.99) or the StackForge Play Pass adds extras. Neither changes the rules or the board.
Does Tenward have ads?
No. Tenward never interrupts a run with an ad, and it has no energy timers or paid continues.
How is it different from other number-match games?
Many sum-to-ten puzzles are static boards you clear at your own pace. In Tenward nothing refills from above and a floor of new rows rises from below, faster the longer you last, so every ten is a choice about space as well as points. Everyone also gets the same Daily board, row for row.
Can I play Tenward in a browser?
Yes. Today’s Daily board is playable free in your browser on the Tenward play page, with no sign-up. Browser play is unranked practice; the ranked Daily and its leaderboard live in the iPhone and Android apps.
