How it plays
A sequence-planning puzzle: every level shows its whole piece sequence, and the board is four quarters.
Quarterfill is a sequence-planning puzzle. Every level shows its complete piece sequence before you start — "Place these 28 pieces" — and the strip above the board lists every piece still to come, in the order it will arrive. You hold three at a time. Nothing is random, so the puzzle is planning the whole sequence. The 8×8 board is built from four separate 4×4 quarters: a quarter clears when all sixteen of its squares are full, and rows and columns clear too. On marked levels one quarter wears a gold frame and starts part-filled with stones, its holes cut to fit pieces in your sequence; fill it and it clears as one, taking its stones with it. All 200 levels are checked by a solver before release, and if your placements leave a board that can no longer be finished, Quarterfill tells you instead of letting you play on.
- The whole piece sequence, shown before you place the first piece
- Four 4×4 quarters; a marked quarter clears as one
- 200 levels in four tiers, every one proved solvable
- One Daily for everyone, plus Gauntlet: a chain of proved rounds

The loop
Every run follows one honest loop.
- 01Read the sequence
- 02Plan the gold quarter
- 03Place the pieces that fit its holes
- 04Clear it as one
- 05Reach the goal
- 06Take the next level.
What is inside
Inside Quarterfill.
You can see every piece
Each level opens with its full, fixed sequence: 28 or 30 pieces in the campaign, listed in order. You hold three at a time and the strip shows the rest, so every placement is planned against what is actually coming.
Four quarters, one goal
The board is four separate 4×4 quarters. No piece holds more than nine squares, so filling a quarter always takes a plan of two or more placements. On a marked level the gold quarter only counts when it fills and clears as a whole — a row or column through it does not.
Every level is proved
All 200 levels are re-solved before release and the winning line is replayed through the same engine you play. A level that cannot be finished never ships.
It says when you're stuck
When the solver proves your current board can no longer reach the goal, Quarterfill says so and offers undo or restart. Campaign levels can be retried right away, as often as you like.
One Daily, the same for everyone
Each day brings one fixed board, identical for every player, with one ranked attempt. Your placements are replayed on our server before the score is ranked, and no account is needed. From 31 October the Daily adds two marked quarters to clear on top of its goal.
Why it exists
Built for a reason.
Most piece-placing games deal at random and ask how long you can last. Quarterfill shows you the whole sequence and asks whether you can plan it — which makes every level a real puzzle with a real solution.
Made for puzzle players who like to think a few moves ahead, and want designed levels with a solution behind every one rather than a random stream.
