Draft numbers. Play patterns. Break the math.

Roguelite deckbuilderRelicsChips × mult

Sumward is a number-synergy roguelite deckbuilder built on Balatro's chassis with the portfolio's arithmetic DNA. Draft number cards, play hands that form patterns — pairs, runs, sum-to-ten, prime sets — score chips times mult, and stack relics until the math breaks. Beat eight escalating rounds, survive the bosses at 4 and 8, then go infinite.

Gameplay screenshots coming soon. Pattern hands, the Exchange shop, and relic synergies are being polished for launch.

Why you'll open it again

Built around the daily loop.

Patterns are points

Play hands that form pairs, runs, sum-to-ten, or prime sets. Each pattern scores chips times a multiplier — find the overlap and the numbers explode.

Stack relics until it breaks

Clear a round to reach The Exchange: thirteen relics, number packs, foil/holo/gild enhancements, and a deck shredder. Build a deck that snowballs out of control.

Bosses that change the rules

The boss at round 4 takes your discards; The Auditor at round 8 scores junk hands at zero. Your deck has to answer the question each boss asks.

Then go infinite

Beat eight escalating rounds and the run keeps going. The only ceiling is how hard you can make the math break.

Why we built it

Sumward exists because the deckbuilder-roguelite loop is the best engine in games for 'just one more run' — and arithmetic patterns are a synergy language everyone already speaks.

Who it is for

Roguelite deckbuilder fans — anyone who lost a week to Balatro — who like synergy-stacking, run variety, and big satisfying score swings.

The loop

Draft → play patterns → score chips × mult → shop the Exchange → stack relics → break round 8 → go infinite.

Free to start. The full deck when you want it.

Sumward is free to start. The full unlock opens the full relic and enhancement pool, deeper run progression, premium decks, and cloud-synced run continues.
