Bigger eats smaller
Absorb anything below your mass and grow; everything above yours wants to do the same to you. The whole game is reading the arena and picking your moments.
Split to win
Split your mass to lunge at fleeing prey or to escape a cell that has you cornered. Power and risk are the same button.
Mind the viruses
Viruses shatter oversized cells. Use them to escape a giant — or get greedy and become the snack.
Calm, Hunt, Apex
Farm safely while the arena is calm, outmaneuver predators during the Hunt, then evade or absorb the recurring Apex to reach the next depth.

Massward exists because eat-grow-split play is one of the cleanest power fantasies in games — and freeing it from laggy servers makes it instant, fair, and endlessly replayable.
