One thumb, full storm
Touch anywhere and a floating joystick appears under your thumb. Your weapons fire themselves — your only job is to move, survive, and choose what to build.

Arcade Game
LiveOne thumb. Five weapons. Hundreds of enemies. Survive the storm.
Ionstorm is a one-thumb horde-survival roguelite in the Survivors genre. Hundreds of enemies swarm the screen while five auto-firing weapons thin the storm. Pick one of three upgrades per level, claim Relics when The Collapsar falls, and spend idle Cores earned by the Reactor to forge a stronger start every run.
Free to start · $4.99 full unlock · Play Pass available

Ionstorm is live on the App Store. More horde, upgrade-draft, Relic, and Reactor gameplay captures are coming to the site soon.
Three clear parts
Touch anywhere and a floating joystick appears under your thumb. Your weapons fire themselves — your only job is to move, survive, and choose what to build.
Every level offers one of three upgrades — new weapons, passive modules, or overdrives. The run you survive with is the loadout you drafted on the fly.
Face the boss at 6:40 — beat it and a stronger one returns every 2.5 minutes. The storm never actually ends; you just see how long you last.
Every Collapsar kill drops a cache — choose one Relic to hold. Nova Bomb clears the screen, Aegis Cell shields your hull, Chain Storm chains lightning through clusters, Magnet Surge vacuums every pickup instantly. Your relic bar holds three; tap any slot to fire it.
Your idle Reactor generates Cores between sessions. Open the Hub and collect before the cap fills — a full cap stops earning. Upgrade the rate and cap to build a bigger fuel supply with every check-in.
Spend Cores at the Forge between runs for permanent upgrades — stronger weapons, higher integrity, faster weapon tempo, wider pickup pull. You are always building toward a harder run.
Hostiles run hot and spiky, pickups glow emerald above the horde, the player reads white-cyan on top. You always know what's about to kill you.
Why it exists
Ionstorm exists because horde survival gets powerful when the build compounds — run upgrades, idle Cores, Relics from bosses, and Forge permanents turn each session into a stronger start.
For players who
Horde-survival and roguelite fans who want hundreds of enemies on screen, fast builds, idle check-in hooks, and just-one-more-run escalation.
The loop
Move → vacuum XP → pick an upgrade → beat The Collapsar → claim a Relic → collect idle Cores from the Reactor → spend them at the Forge → start the next run stronger.
Ionstorm is free to start — all five weapons, the full level-up draft, weapon evolution, the Reactor, one Daily Storm a day, and 7-minute Deploy runs. The full unlock removes the 7-minute wall for unlimited runs, opens unlimited Daily Storm with streaks and the global leaderboard, adds Loadout Presets, and unlocks the deeper Reactor upgrades — 16 of the 20 are Pro.
